Alternate form[edit]
I swapped linchpin and lynchpin since the former is 7x as prevalent in Google Ngrams and most spell check dictionaries accept the former while rejecting the latter. I wasn't able to move the page histories, so please refer to Talk:linchpin for older edits of the shorter "alternative form" page and Talk:lynchpin for older edits of the longer primary definition page. -- Adam KatzΔ☎ 18:43, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
