Spanish translations[edit]

Figure 1 shows the translation for hyperlink from Spanish MS Word and Figure 2 shows the equivalent option highlighted in the English version. Figure 3 shows the translation for enlace from Merriam-Webster's online Spanish dictionary. Figure 4 shows the translation for eslabón, chain link. It says that it’s de una cadena, i.e., of a chain. possible relation of sense 3[edit]

I wonder if the 3rd sense here of skipping where the origin is unknown has some relation to the German word lecken, which could mean skip/hop in older use, or to an English cognate of this word. Eric Schiefelbein (talk) 08:31, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
