Apparent Contradiction[edit]
The entry for 'magnorder' defines the term as "A taxon one rank above a superorder, and below gigaorder or a class. A magnorder is the highest taxonomic ranking of order.". In this entry 'magnorder' is seemingly defined as being both "the highest taxonomic ranking of order" and "below gigaorder". Perhaps I'm mistaken, but isn't the given definition self-contradictory? If 'magnorder' is below 'gigaorder' how can it be the highest ranking of order? What is actually the highest taxonomic rank of order? Vir-AzByCxDw123 (talk) 03:54, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
