I've always heard that malu in Sicilian is the same as malu in Sardo, but now I cannot find proof. If someone could find something definitive either way, I would really appreciate it. Medellia 23:25, 18 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sicilian
Etymology

From Latin male

Adjective

malu (feminine singular mala, masculine and feminine plural mali)

  1. bad
Malu is definitely a Sicilian adjective. I have added a citation from a Sicilian-Italian dictionary to the citations subpage of the lemma, and I will restore the Sicilian entry. --Afc0703 22:08, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
