Synecdoche: hyponym, or hypernym?[edit]

Since "synecdoche" is defined as referring either to a part for the whole; or to the whole for a part, wouldn't that make it a hypernym? BlueCaper (talk) 18:30, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
