Nahuatl[edit]

A word exists in Nahuatl spelled "nobia", meaning "fianceé", indicating instead of the word being drawn randomly from "novus", meaning new (and which makes absolutely no sense), it makes much more sense for novia being a borrowing from the Nahuatl language. 169.244.116.65 19:03, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
