Then how come it's in practically all dictionaries that go into more specific detail on the word: [2] [3]. The word seems to suggest almost treating someone as if they're pathetic, like pathetically unintelligent, and having a sympathy for them because of it whenever dictionaries go into more detail on the word. 66.175.205.69 15:49, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
