Just a source as to the information I added for the definition of patronize, here [1]. The "kindness" while talking as if the person "isn't smart" aspect of the word was not clarified in the version before my edits. 66.175.205.69 12:34, 11 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Then how come it's in practically all dictionaries that go into more specific detail on the word: [2] [3]. The word seems to suggest almost treating someone as if they're pathetic, like pathetically unintelligent, and having a sympathy for them because of it whenever dictionaries go into more detail on the word. 66.175.205.69 15:49, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

SemperBlotto, I took the liberty of delving through your editing history and your user talk page history and see a lot of complaints against you for poor communication with IP users that have made legitimate edits (as one example: [4] ).
