@Theknightwho The term is not dated in the context of Brit Eng which is what this entry is concerned with as labeled. The ngram from Brit Eng corpus clearly shows this is the case, although there is a trend away from it. There was a discussion on this at Wiktionary:Tea room/2022/March#per cent.
