Senses unrelated to cricket or other sports?[edit]

What sense is it if I say sentences such as "Play on their fears/prejudices/etc." or "Anti-gay marriage PSAs play on the love of children and their futures by parents..."? --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 16:02, 21 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
