More than one, or more than two?

Chambers 1908 rather confusingly says: "(chem.) noting elements or radicals with an equivalency greater than two: with more than one atom in the molecule". Perhaps just two different senses. Equinox 22:29, 28 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
