The translation svátek I have just entered is ambiguous. What came to mind was veřejný svátek, on which however Google gave very few hits. The related term státní svátek refers specifically to national holidays, excluding some public holidays.[1] --Daniel Polansky 14:12, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
