Definition:

  1. An autumn-flavoured spice blend that includes pumpkin

Autumn isn't a flavor, and pumpkin is basically a type of squash- not spice-blend material. In the US, we use a specific blend of cloves, cinnamon, (dried) ginger and nutmeg to season pumpkin pies, which are traditionally eaten in the fall/autumn, especially at Thanksgiving. This blend is sold as "pumpkin pie spice", sometimes shortened to "pumpkin spice", and it's been around since before Starbuck's even existed, so they didn't coin the term.

To sum it all up, pretty much everything in this entry except the words "spice blend" is based on one misunderstanding or another. I suspect that there are many more errors in this IP's other entries, but that's all I'll say for now... Chuck Entz (talk) 08:01, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
