Queynte, noun, cognate with cunt. Read your damn Chaucer. — This unsigned comment was added by 184.69.23.18 (talk) at 02:22, 18 October 2020 (UTC).Reply

While it's true that this is (mostly) covered at cunte, we should probably have a separate etymology section with "alternative form of cunte" or something to that effect for the single divergent spelling that you mention. I'm not sure what the MED means by citing it as "Conte [Crit. ed.: What eyleth yow to grucche thus and grone? Is it for ye wolde haue my queynte allone?]" Chuck Entz (talk) 02:49, 18 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Somebody is trying to create this fake entry with this "alternate" spelling of "cunt", complete with fake etymology.— This unsigned comment was added by 91.65.221.44 (talk) at 13:14, 14 December 2020 (UTC).Reply

Not fake. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. See this Middle English Dictionary entry. Chuck Entz (talk) 14:20, 14 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
