Is there a convenient word for someone who tries to be hyper-obedient as a perverse way to show defiance? e.g. mom puts kid in timeout for 30 minutes, and he stays there for four hours until the mom finally breaks and goes to get him, and then the kid has the glory of victory for having outlasted the one who intended to punish him. I can think of adult-life situations too but theyd be more specific and more difficult to explain. Lollipop (talk) 03:54, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
