Hmm, I compared it with a lot of images that Google turns up for "saxe blue" (clothes, etc.) and those are a much paler colour. Equinox ◑ 18:50, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

When you dye fabrics with a dye of a certain color, the fabric itself affects how the color comes out. In clothing, colors are rarely very close to what you’d see in a color chart. If you look at house paints, you will see a much bette representation of the color.
