Rfv-sense: In a seeming manner. I'm not sure that this is current English. Is it an obsolete sense? Is there a modern wording that is different from the other sense ("apparently")? DCDuring TALK 19:18, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to look up a few -ly adverbs in the OED to find out about sense and usage evolution to see if I get a feel for this kind of thing. Someone more familiar than I with Early Modern English might be able to cite this. DCDuring TALK 12:45, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
