Ive long been a holdout on including quotes of tweets with emotionally heavy content like this. here is a link that shows ample attestation of this expression, but because the search relies on parsing an asterisk as a string literal, it could break at any time, and i will bookmark at least some of the tweets. i still prefer to not actually add them in as direct links, but if pressed, i will do so because i know that that's what other people do and that there is no policy carve-out for explicit language or painful emotions. that said, i personally think the page is better without the links, as they provide little context that isnt already self-evident, and people writing ordinary conversations on twitter are not expecting their conversations to be copied onto wiktionary or other sites like Webster. thus i provide the links to cites as proof of current use, not as illustrations of that use.
