shot[edit]

Previous discussion: talk:shot.

Rfv-sense: "(prison) a spoon of coffee." Tagged but not listed. I'm afraid I don't have the patience to go through the history and find out who tagged it. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:56, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'll have a go on Google Groups and Books, but shot is so widespread with other meanings, it's gonna be very hard. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:57, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

take shots at[edit]

Should't take shots at be added? --Backinstadiums (talk) 14:34, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

have a shot/take the shot[edit]

For example "as soon as you have a clear shot, take it" seems to be missing. General Vicinity (talk) 18:02, 31 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

New Verb Sense[edit]

For the the most recently added verb sense, currently sense 3, we have the following definition: "To feed small shot to a horse". What is the noun sense of 'shot' that this definition is referring to? It seems to me to be missing from the noun section of the shot page and, if I'm right, should be added there. --Overlordnat1 (talk) 11:31, 13 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
