Precipitation?

Is the term shower of precipitation ever used? The only Google hits seem to be Wiktionary, and its copies (or the source from which our entry was copied?) and one blog. Dbfirs 15:34, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

I could imagine it being used to clear up some ambiguity in conversation ("Oh, that kind of shower!"), but it does not seem to be a dictionary term. DCDuring Holiday Greetings! 17:59, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
