..was this ever actually attested in OE as meaning a plough (the implement, that is)? According to the OED, the first recorded citation is actually from the Ormulum, ie in around 1200. Ƿidsiþ 16:46, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

I believe so: Coll. Monast. Th. 30, 29.
