- I added two uses spelled supercontactor in the same sense. A supercontactor is also a rare term for a piece of lab equipment, probably a lower case form of an old Podbielniak product named Super-Contactor. ("The centrifugal supercontactor developed by Podbielniak is another fractionation apparatus in which centrifugal force is applied to the distillation process.")
