"A Linux user with a higher privilege level than ordinary users." Alludes to an Easter egg in apt-get that produces an ASCII art picture of a cow. However, I can't confirm that supercow actually has this meaning, nor does it look particularly attestable. The spelling super cow (two words) may be more common.
