I have added a note to the etymology of the 'though' sense, which I presume this referenced, to compare the contracted variant tho', which certainly does have such a history, as can be seen in, for example, Stanhope's seventeenth-century translation of Of Wisdom, which routinely used it. If there is a more appropriate way to indicate this than I have done, I should thank some kind editor for emending it. 192.252.236.179 05:56, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
