I heard of this term via this product http://blog.onedegreeorganics.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Brown-Rice-Cocoa-Crisps-USA.jpg

When I look on the back it is called a "step beyond organic" so it is clearly based on combining that with vegan principles. So it is being used not merely as an alternative to vegan, but vegan-plus or something. 174.92.134.248 19:11, 26 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
