Don't think that's IPA at all, ī isn't even a valid character. I would guess at vɛː(r).baɪl/ invalid IPA characters (/) but I've never actually heard the word. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:29, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't know this word, but in regards to this character, which is of course non-IPA , I've seen it in use in lieu of /aɪ/. See here: [1]. I am not sure what sort of pronunciation standard is used on tFD. JamesjiaoTC 21:39, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
