Are you referring to the English or Wolof word? I'm guessing the English word. I'm not familiar with the term, but the current pronunciation /ˈjiːn/ seems to superficially make sense since it's a shortening of hyena. If this is wrong, what would the correct pronunciation be? To be clear, the current English IPA indicates that it rhymes with seen (/ˈsiːn/). The audio is for Wolof. 98.170.164.88 22:57, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
