This article does not follow the standardised writing rules for West-Flemish, as stated on the West-Flemish Wikipedia at https://vls.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:SV_V1.3_Soamnvattienge. The correct spelling would be "zêe". Starting from there, is there a way to change the title of an article or does this automatically imply creating the current article and creating a new one? I'm not very experienced on the technicalities of Wiki. Thanks for your help! Breakboon (talk) 17:00, 24 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Breakboon: As far as I know, West Flemish has no standardised spelling. If a particular spelling should be considered preferred on Wiktionary, this would need to be codified on Wiktionary:About West Flemish after discussion with other West Flemish editors here. —Rua (mew) 19:51, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Rua: Hi! First of all, thanks for the corrections around my recent contributions! Regarding spelling, it would make no sense not to make use of the years of work that the users of Wikipedia have already put into this. It's both part of the same Wikimedia Foundation after all, isn't it? Most of the other West-Flemish words are very much consistent with the above mentioned rules. But we can certainly have a discssion about this on Wiktionary:About West Flemish... Breakboon (talk) 20:17, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I agree that adopting the Wikipedia conventions makes sense. I just want to be sure that other editors on Wiktionary are ok with it. You can write that it's proposed to adopt the same standard on the About page. That page is not actually for discussion, rather for standardising, but since there is nothing there yet I don't think there's anything wrong with making a first draft. —Rua (mew) 20:21, 18 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
