Usage[edit]

What is This Template For ?[edit]

Template is designed to facilitate a concise, standardized summary of verb complements. It will categorize the hungarian verb (semantically) according to its complements and more specifically the case ending these require.

However when there multiple complements combinations are present, it is an indicator that there are semantically different word senses in use. In such a case, ideally there should be an example sentence, illustrating each complements combination. Minimally the entry should indicate with examples the cases where complements diverge from those used in English.

The order of parameters should be: The order you wish the complements shown.

The following complements are available:

To Do[edit]

Urgent[edit]

  1. hu-comp* has some errors.
  2. the hu-comp-verbose helper templates has two errors in the English names

Discuss[edit]

  1. the hu-comp* templates treats unknown parameters as GIGO. This is/isn't a good idea.
  2. wikify Latin case ending names like the dative to assist non linguists.
  3. place -ba, -be -ra -re etc into vhova category etc.
