Various 2006[edit]

Probably not, I have been intending to put a big comment at the top about attestation (see WT:CFI) there are a lot of entries on this list which don't meet that criteria but I don't fancy the task of checking them all.MGSpiller 01:45, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is "whip" slang for penis? I've heard it mentioned somewhere, but I forget where. — This unsigned comment was added by 88.107.194.21 (talk) at 2 July 2006.

Whatever happened to "bologna pony"? That one always struck me as funny. — This unsigned comment was added by 70.137.148.124 (talk) at 8 December 2006.

I got one for ya. If Monty Python is allowed, first of all isn't "Fireworks" by Katy Perry literally about long schlong silver? Or "Surfboard" by Beyonce? Anyway my suggestion is "One-eyed one-horned giant purple people eater." ...Also "o rly" was just some dumb meme about a surprised-looking owl. It literally means "oh, really?" Most common?[edit]

* john thomas
* one-eyed trousers snake
* wife's best friend
* percy

I find it hard to believe these are more common then manhood for example... (I've never even heard of them) 17:00, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

-- Well, it seems this whole slang section is the direct lyrics of Monty Python's "Penis Song", so if anything they are British slang. I think the section is a bit too long (snicker snicker), seriously though, if you want the most popular nicknames, list 10 and be done. I mean, Stuart for Rod stuart? jeebus.

A general rule of thumb in English is that any word can mean penis or breasts.

Package[edit]

Isn't that more commonly used to refer to the testicles, than the penis itself?

In Mexico, we call it "el venas" too.

What about "happy place"?[edit]

Error in the Hindi/Urdu section[edit]

There's an obvious error in the Hindi/Urdu section at the end. The page is locked, or I'd fix it myself. Andy 17:38, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Alphabet[edit]

Do you know it? Check out the order of countries... Last I checked S comes AFTER R...

Rævguitar[edit]

I have never heard "rævguitar". That does not necessarily mean that it is not not used. But it does not mean ass fox, it means fox guitar. Most likely a typo for røvguitar, meaning arse guitar, which I have also never heard.

A very common term in Danish is tissemand (peeing-man), which is rather childish.

"want", not "wan't"[edit]

In the sentence "But we don't wan't to lose those that are genuinely used in some places, were used at some time.", "wan't" should be replaced by "want".

rod?[edit]

how could plain simple old "rod" not be included in the "most common" list?

About "penis"-meaning words in portuguese[edit]

Actually, you rarely hear the word "verga". In european portuguese, you mostly say caralho, pila, piço, and very importantly, marzapo. It seems to me that the words here are mostly of brazilian origin. You should add these as typically european portuguese slang.

Google[edit]

Curiously, I just typed 'Wikisaurus' into Google, and this page was the top of the results list. Presumably a lot of people are linking to penis. 82.21.59.42 22:31, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

More words for penis[edit]

I'm not trying to be funny, but friends and I have had discussion on other words for penis fairly often. I think we should also include ONE-EYED PURPLE HEADED YOGURT SLINGER, BABY BAT, BABY'S ARM HOLDING AN APPLE, JIZZ CANNON, WARRIOR OF THE PANTS, and SHEATH OF LOVE. As we think of others, I will definitely contribute. Incidentally, I also noticed that when I google 'Wikisaurus', it directs to the Wikisaurus penis page at the second result. Definitely odd. Morganacohen 15:25, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

We should realize that it is just as possible that a comedian writing his act could use Wikisaurus to find alternate words that are funny as a journalist using Wikisaurus to find proper words for his article. The names we have for penis, as an example, may be childish (or whatever u might classify them as) but I believe there place in society is as deserved as the clinical ones, each in their own right. Okay, look[edit]

A list like this needs to be WAY more comprehensive. This might be the most synonymized word ever. Just in the spirit of getting a real list started, in alphabetical order:

Wikisaurus:testicles[edit]

People have started adding their protologisms to these pages. —Internoob (DiscCont) 23:51, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Never mind, I'm satisfied of most of them, and some of them would be quite hard to search for. —Internoob (DiscCont) 19:48, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Better there than in principal namespace. I'd be surprised if they didn't have some usage somewhere, at least at one time. DCDuring TALK 00:05, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Racial slur in list?[edit]

"Boonga" in Australian slang is a racial slur for First Nations folks, not a term for male anatomy. Cirrus Aeltir (talk) 03:08, 5 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
