In British Columbia, Canada, it is prounounced more like “Nukka”. To say it to somebody derogatorily is pretty much non-existent, as there is a nanosized population of dark skinned people, however, if a larger population did exist, Canadians aren’t super firm on using racist terms when talking to or describing a fellow citizen. The word “faggot (fag)” is commonly blurred out to someone hated or someone who is actually a male homosexual. Also the term “jewwed” is used to describe what someone does to another when ripping them off, ex: “I got jewwed”, it “He jewwed me”. Or “what a Jew” to describe someone cheap or a scandalous thief. The word “gay” is used to describe something cheesy, boring, lame or something that sucks. “That nightclub is totally gay” doesn’t mean it’s a gay nightclub for homosexuals. It means it sucks.
