Arabic colloquial words[edit]

Hi,

Re: Talk:dick#Arabic_in_colloquial_for_penis, Talk:ass#Arabic_term_relating_to_buttocks You can add new translations yourself عير (ʿayr) and طيز (ṭīz) using "ar" (Arabic) as the language code. Here's the transliteration page we use: Wiktionary:About_Arabic (the first symbol in column "Rom." is preferred). How do you pronounce عير? Is it "ʿayr"? Which dialect is it? Please don't forget to sign your messages with ~~~~ (there's also a button for that). --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 23:17, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Well, I tried to edit the pages, but it said

You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

Also, yes, it is pronounced ʿayr. It's Levantine Arabic. Chaimshalom (talk) 00:13, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

OK, thanks. There must be some vandalism. You can use the JavaScript tool to add translations, though. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 00:23, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
