  1. A Gaulish name, notably borne by a chief of the Aedui and a chief of the Gaesatae
    Tum Mārcellus cum parvā manū equitum dīmicāvit et rēgem Gallōrum, Viridomārum nōmine, manū suā occīdit.
    Then Marcellus with little cavalry fought also the Gaulish king named Viridomarus and killed him by his own hand.
