abundancy index (plural abundance indices or abundancy indexes)

  1. (mathematics) The divisor function of an integer divided by the integer.
    The abundancy index of 20 is 2.1 because 1 + 2 + 4 + 5 + 10 + 20 = 42 and 42/20 = 2.1.
