- (North Wales) IPA(key): /ˈamrɪu̯/, /ˈamrɨu̯/
- (South Wales) IPA(key): /ˈamrɪu̯/
Usage notes[edit]
Despite being written with a "y", the vowel here is generally pronounced /ɪ/ in the north as tends to be the case when "y" precedes "w".
