autoscroll (third-person singular simple present autoscrolls, present participle autoscrolling, simple past and past participle autoscrolled)

  1. (graphical user interface) To automatically scroll. Usually activated with the middle button of a mouse. The distance of the cursor from the original location on the screen where the middle button was activated controls speed (increasing with distance) and scrolling direction.
