  1. (California) Any member of the species Salvia mellifera of aromatic sage native to California, which are an important nectar source for sage honey.
  2. Wooly bluecurls (Trichostema lanatum)
  3. Wild sage (Cordia spp.), especially Cordia curassavica (syn. Cordia macrostachya)
  4. Certain sagebrushes (Artemisia arbuscula and Artemisia tridentata)
