  1. (colloquial) to kiss (to touch with the lips, in order to show love, friendship, respect, devotion)
    sieva sagrāba viņu un sāka izstieptām lūpām bučot uz vaiga, acīm, degunathe wife grabbed him and started kissing with stretched lips on his cheeks, eyes, nose
    šņukstēdama tad māte nokrita pie gultas... bučoja man degošos vaigus un pierisobbing, mother fell near the bed... (she) kissed my burning cheeks and forehead
