  1. (youth slang, particularly university slang, usually in the diminutive) Abbreviation of biertje voor onderweg (“beer to be consumed during a journey”).
    De studenten namen elk een bvo'tje mee om op te drinken tijdens het fietsen naar het festivalterrein. ― The students each took a beer for the journey to drink while cycling to the festival grounds.
