ceteareth (usually uncountable, plural ceteareths)
- (organic chemistry) Any of a group of polyoxyethylene ethers of a mixture of high-molecular-mass saturated fatty alcohols, mainly cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. They are often used as emulsifiers in soaps and cosmetics.
