copy attack (plural copy attacks)

  1. An attack on certain digital watermarking systems, where adding a false watermark to an item, based on a real existing watermark, may allow the attacker to have an inauthentic image declared authentic, or to impose limitations on the control of an item that would normally be unrestricted.
