  1. (linguistics, computing) The development of additional features.
  2. The adaptation of a serial etc. into a feature film.
    • 2015, Roy Kinnard, Science Fiction Serials, page 40:
      New feature versions, running longer than the original theatrical featurizations, were also prepared, with two features edited from Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (which had never spawned a theatrical feature) covering virtually the entire serial.
