Compound of finsk (“Finnish”) + pinne (“stick”). The relationship with Finland is unknown.

- a biscuit made of mördeg (“shortcrust”) (without egg), flavoured with bitter almond and garnished with chopped sweet almond and nib sugar
- Hypernym: mördegskaka (“shortbread”)
