- (Internet) a quickly written reply to a news post or forum thread with little to no content, aimed to be the first reply

Usage notes[edit]
A fipo in some cases contains only the word "fipo", causing the message to be completely void of meaning. Any quickly written message that doesn't show the reader actually read the article may qualify as a fipo though, for example: "That's great news!", "We all learned something today." and "I don't care." could also be fipo's.
