Romanian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Latin fricāre, present active infinitive of fricō.

Pronunciation[edit]

  • IPA(key): [freˈka]
  • (file)

Verb[edit]

a freca (third-person singular present freacă, past participle frecat) 1st conj.

  1. to rub
  2. (reflexive, slang, with placeholder o, see usage notes) to jerk off, to wank, to jack off, to whack off (masturbate) [+dative]
    Mi-o frec de șapte ori pe zi.
    I jerk off seven times a day.

Usage notes[edit]

In the sense of “masturbate”, two constructions are possible:

  • i-o freacă cuiva, with a simple dative indirect object and unmistakably active in meaning;
  • și-o freacă, with a dative plural pronoun reciprocal in sense.
