hangboard (plural hangboards)

  1. A training device for building finger strength, popular with rock climbers, consisting of holds, usually of different shapes and sizes, attached on a wall.

      You can either buy a commercial hangboard, or make your own. Some commercial hangboards are made of a polyester resin mix, and are textured to give you a good grip.
