From hypo- + -mania, after German Hypomanie.

hypomania (countable and uncountable, plural hypomanias)
- (medicine) A mild form of mania, especially the phase of several mood disorders characterized by euphoria or hyperactivity.
- 1974, Lawrence Durrell, Monsieur, Faber & Faber, published 1992, page 197:
