Tocharian B[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Probably from Proto-Indo-European *wi(h₁)dḱm̥t-o-, a form (and using an alternate reconstruction) of *wídḱm̥ti. Compare ikäṃ, which seems to be from the same PIE form.
