From Ottoman Turkish محشر (mahşer, gathering place; crowd; assembly on judgment day), from Arabic مَحْشَر (maḥšar, place of assembly), from حَشَرَ (ḥašara, assemble).

Noun[edit]

mahşer (definite accusative mahşeri, plural mahşerler)

  1. (Islam) The place where humanity will assemble on the day of judgement, often identified with Mount Arafat in near Mecca.
