  1. (medicine, rare) Ocular syphilis: the ocular component or manifestations of syphilis; syphilis's effects on the eyes. In modern nosology not entirely distinct from the rest of neurosyphilis; sometimes formerly differentiated as, or in parallel with, parasyphilis.
