ògìdìgbó
- A Yoruba drum belonging to the gbẹ̀du class of drums, it is used to make coded messages or send long-distance messages. It was mainly played in the royal court of the Aláàfin.
Usage notes[edit]
- It is often confused with the àgídìgbo, a type of Yoruba lamellophone. While the àgídìgbo is sometimes regarded as a drum, they are not related.
